How this atlas is produced

LaminaMed draws on published dissection studies and peer-reviewed literature, with AI tools used in the drafting process.

Text generation

Written descriptions, clinical notes, and structural summaries are drafted with the assistance of Claude (Anthropic).

Illustrations

All images on LaminaMed are generated with DALL·E (OpenAI). They are not photographs of dissections or real specimens. AI images can contain anatomical errors and should be read together with the cited literature.

Limits of AI

AI models can produce anatomical errors, invented details and references that do not exist. AI output is therefore never treated as a source. Claims rest on the cited literature.

Review status

Content is drafted with AI and edited by the author. Not all text and illustrations have been independently reviewed. Where a page has been checked by the author against anatomical sources and the cited literature, it shows a review date. Pages marked “Not yet reviewed” have not been checked and should be read with that in mind.
