LaminaMed is an evidence-based anatomical atlas built around one question: what does fascia actually look like — and how does it connect everything?
The atlas maps the fascial architecture of the human body across organs, regions, and whole-body continuity chains. Every pin, every view, and every description is grounded in dissection-based research and peer-reviewed sources.
About the author
Chris Vodstrup is a Danish physiotherapist and osteopathy student. He built LaminaMed out of a frustration with existing resources: anatomy atlases that treat fascia as an afterthought, and clinical education that rarely shows how structures actually connect across regions.
LaminaMed is his attempt to change that - a platform where the fascial system is the primary lens, not a footnote.
Why fascia?
Fascia is the most pervasive connective tissue in the body, yet it remains the least understood in clinical education. It wraps every muscle, organ, nerve, and vessel. It transmits force, stores elastic energy, and plays a central role in proprioception and pain.
A different way to learn anatomy
Most anatomy education is built around isolated structures — a muscle here, a ligament there. LaminaMed takes a different approach: every structure is shown in its fascial context, every view is chosen because it reveals a connection, and every pin points to something that matters clinically.
The goal is not memorisation. It is understanding — seeing how the body holds itself together, and what happens when it doesn't.
