The urinary bladder is a hollow muscular organ in the anterior pelvis, supported by the endopelvic fascia and anchored to the anterior abdominal wall by the median umbilical ligament (obliterated urachus). Its fascial envelope — the vesical fascia — is continuous with the endopelvic fascia and plays a key role in pelvic floor support.
